Terms of use
This document summarizes the intended operation and is not a final set of contractual terms. It must not be used to accept payments or enter into contracts until the operator and qualified legal counsel have completed and approved it.
Service
Formatara processes documents to produce text, structure and exports. Results may contain errors, and users must review relevant data before using it.
Credits
One physical PDF page or one image uses one credit when the job completes successfully. Reserved pages are returned after a technical failure. Exporting the same result again uses no credits.
Acceptable use
You may not process unlawful material, attempt to bypass limits, access other people's documents, distribute malware or use unreviewed results for automated decisions that affect the rights or legal interests of individuals.
Ownership and license
Users retain their rights to the content and grant only the limited authorization needed to store it, process it and generate the requested exports.
Availability and accuracy
Absolute accuracy and perfect fidelity are not guaranteed. Small, damaged, handwritten or visually complex documents may require review or fail.
Billing
If billing is enabled, recurring plans may renew until canceled, while Flex packages and top-ups may be one-time payments. Before charging customers, prices and taxes, order confirmation, cancellation, non-payment, price changes, refunds and, where applicable, withdrawal rights and mandatory guarantees must be defined.
